Drug Sensitive

Since I have not had a good experience with this onset of symptoms and found the suggestion of meds : harsh.
What about cutting a Pepcid in half so ones heart would not race as with stronger meds in the tidine family.
If it is GERD then musn't heartburn and stomach ache, pain and weight loss be helped ?
How have you done ?

Pepcid ac will help control mild heart burn from gerd but I never had stomach pain from it. I take Zantac and maalox because prilosec seemed to make me feel full or bloated all the time.
I hope this helps. I know you cannot cut prilosec in half but thats because its a capsule and i believe pepcid is a solid pill which I don't think would be a problem. But to be honest with you I feel I get more relief from Maalox than the Zantac but the zantac helps keep the acid down while the maalox eliminates the symptoms and helps with the acid also.
