Dull Ache Right Below Solar Plexsis-Hiatal Hernia

Hello,

Thank you so much for helping me!
I am experiencing a dull ache in the solar plexis area on and off since Aug 09. It is not of a burning type it is gnawing dullache.  My pain is directly below the tip of my breat bone and about 3 inches above my belly button. I had normal colonoscopy (investigated all the way to the secum)about 2 years ago and and endoscopy about 2 months ago. I went b/c of the ache and a feeling of pressure in my thyroid area when laying down with head tilted forward. The endoscopy found a Hiatal Hernia my colonoscopy showed anal fissures (to which this day still bleeds frequently) ie; blood on toilet paper..

1. Is it normal to get frequent dull aches in the area described above with a hiatal hernia?
2. The constant slight bleeding of the anal fissures should I be worried?
3. Are there any other tests that I should do?
4. Should I check my small intestine?

Hiatal hernia often causes mid-epigastric aching, burning or sharp pain that sometimes radiates up the sternum and even to the back.

Anal fissures often spot bleed, if not frankly bleeding or painful , no problem.

Endoscopy & Colonoscopy evaluate the upper gastrointestinal tract and intestines well, but there are additional tests a gastroenterologist can consider, if neccessary.  A second opinion is helpful if you haven't had all your questions answered.
