Duodenal Ulcer

I have been on Tagament, Zantac, Pepcid, and Philosec for years.  I have been tested for everything.  Is there a cure.
Dear Shawn,
It has been recently shown that treating patients with duodenal ulcer who also have evidence of Helicobacter pylori infection can change the natural course of the disease. Helicobacter pylori has been identified in greater than 95 percent of duodenal ulcers. In many patients in whom Helicobacter pylori is eradicated fewer bleeding episodes and recurrences have been noted. A simple blood test can detect whether or not you have Helicobacter pylori infection. Treatment is with antibiotics and acid suppression. I hope you find this information helpful.
