Elevated GammaGT

I am a 44 year-old male, and have had a high GammaGT at least during the past 6 months. I have been weekend beer drinker but have stopped in the last month. My GammaGT ranged between 250 to 320 (with maximum acceptable range being lower than 59), and continued to be high (perhaps on the lower side) even after I stopped drinking beer. I am not fat, and have all other (ALT, AST, alkaline phosphate) normal as well as blood sugar, cholesterol, etc. I have not been diagnosed with any hepatitis, except having positive hepatitis A antibodies.
What does a high GammaGT mean and should I be concerned?
