FAP

I was dx w/FAP when I was 16 and had several surgeries since.
"J pouch pull thru, and whipple." A few yrs ago I was told I have Fundic Gland Polyps. One Dr. told me there was nothing to worry about, while another Dr. told me people who have FAP these Fundic Gland Polyps will turn to cancer and the best thing to do while there is still time is to remove my stomach. I have researched this and found a lot of controversy. I'm getting the feeling it's a matter of personal opinion.
My question is what is the best course to follow? I've had cancer already and I don't want to go through that again. What is the chance that the first Dr. is right and there is nothing to worry about?
