Fatty Liver and Medication

I understand that some medication can cause fatty liver.  Are lithium carbonate, cogentin, lithonate, accupril any of those that can cause it?  should there be symptoms for a fatty liver or can you talk to someone and they seem perfectly healthy then two weeks later die of fatty metamophosis of the liver? if you can give me any links for information of this i would appreciate it.  thank you.
Dear Pierce,
There are two forms of fatty liver. Macrovesicular (large fat droplets) steatosis (fatty liver) occurs slowly and is associated with alcohol use, obesity and diabetes, glucocorticoid use and methotrexate. It is often associated with no symptoms, however an enlarged liver may be present. Microvesicular (small fat droplets) steatosis is an acute injury to the liver and can be fatal. Acute fatty liver of pregnancy, valproic acid, Reye's syndrome (in children who ingest aspirin), amiodarone (in children), tetracycline are examples of microvesicular steatosis. These conditions tend to come on suddenly and lead to liver failure and liver necrosis. You may be able to get more information on this condition from the American Liver Foundation. I hope you find this information helpful.
