Flat stools and diet... or a mistery

After my post at this forum, I've been talking to my wife about my flat stools, and surprise, she has flat stools too. They're very similar is aspect to mine: about 1" x 0.5" in diameter and soft. As hard they are, more rounded is its aspect.

Can be a diet problem? Usually our diet is the same, at same hours, and does not include too many fiber.

She is 37, and I'm 42 years old.

im no doc but i believe that whether a stool is round or flat shouldn't matter.  if the stool is black or pencil thin, it could mean something.  talk to a doc.
