Flat stools

Flat stools

From several months, I've had flat stools ocasionally. I'll describe, as good as my english allows me (I'm spanish):

My bowel movements are very regular: 1-2 times daily, in the morning. I do not remember any constipation and I've very ocasional diarheas.

Most of times stools are soft, very easy to evacuate. A few hard as stones and a few really soft.

Stools are usually rounded (not round, but elliptical), with a diameter of about 1" / 1,5" and a 2/3 shape diameter relation.

One or two times I've seen a flat side, as if you cut the stool with a knife, and several times (1 or 2 each week), full flat.

Sometimes, my first BM is normal, and second shows flat stools.

I've not any kind of other symptoms: no pain, no blood and no mucus in the stools.

Latest blood test (one week ago) didn't revealed anemia or anything abnormal.

My diet includes some of fiber, but not a lot.

Can be any disease signal?
Any suggestion?

Thanks a lot for your help.

Any change in your bowel pattern is a change worth investigation by colonoscopy.  However from experience, this change is usually a result of bowel spasm especially if it occurs intermitantly and not with every bowel movement.  Get checked out!
