Foreign fiancee with stomach tumor at age 28

HI everyone-
I guess I am searching like crazy for answers.  My fiancee, who is Chilean, recently fainted and was brought to the hospital in Chile.  They found a tumor the size of a thumb in his stomach and are running tests to find out more.  Does anyone have advice? He has been sick for the past two week with nausea and sweating and an overall feeling of being sick.  I am reading a lot about stomach cancers and find that his age is very atypical to have a cancer.

How can I fund this surgery? He is not a citizen of the US yet, but I am a natural born citizen.  Any advice please? I love this man so dearly and the mere throught of anything happening to me devastates me.
Thank you

I suggest you to research other options. You may find some answers on "The Cancer Homepage":

and here: http://www.gerson.org/
Good luck!

I am sorry to hear about your fiancee's difficulties. Have the results of the tests come back yet, and if so, what were they?

You are correct that esophageal and gastric cancer is rare among people in your fiancee's age group. The earlier the diagnosis (if, God forbid, it is cancer) the better the prognosis is.

Also, PLEASE disregard "LIND's" advice regarding the curezone. "Lind's" real name is Linda and she is paid to visit site's like this one and refer folks like you to the Curezone. The aim is to sell books, some of Hulda Clark's gadgets like the "zapper" and profit from other people's misfortunes. She is a quack, as is Hulda Clark and the curezone.

Please let us know what the results of your fiancee's tests were as soon as possible and perhaps some of us can offer advice, rather than look to exploit you.

Hope to hear good news from you.

With best personal regards,

Is there anyway you can get him here? If he is not already? I would take him to Dana Farber in Boston or the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, or Mass General. They can't refuse him because of inability to pay....my daughter was just at Childrens Hospital Boston and a boy from Kenya Africa was there and had heart surgery that couldn't be done back at his home. There are many ways to get help...try calling The American Cancer Society or The Hospitals I told you the names of and ask for patient relations or social services........they won't volunteer info so if someone doesn't tell you you probably won't find out. Good Luck! If you were married you could use your insurance to cover him, but maybe due to it being found before or go to the hospital here and say you don't know whats wrong and explain everything like you are first dealing with it...I don't know of any other way I could be of help....or try a cancer site with message boards like here. There has to be some way to help him....Good luck and I hope you find what you need to help him
