GALL BLADDER SPASMS

Hi,

i'm going 2 a specialist about my gall bladder on the 24th & last week, i experienced 7 1/2 hours of pain, so i called my dr. & he said 2 try & make an appointment sooner, if possible. i havn't experienced any attacks in a few days, so should i make this call or wait until the 24th 2 see the specialist?

If you have a bad gall bladder there is really nothing you can do about it, but wait to have it removed.  I had a bad gall bladder for months befor it was removed.  To help ease the pain do not eat fatty foods or salad!  Insure helped me and didn't make me sick.  I was nineteen when they removed mine.  A bad gall bladder is a hard thing to detech.  Ask for a fat stress test. It involves injecting a hormone via I-V to clear out the gall bladder then they inject a dye to track the fat that they inject.  An MRI type machine takes images to help view the gall bladder.  This is the best technique for detecting a bad gall bladder.
