GERD and Nasal Catarrah

  I am taking 20mg of Losec daily for GERD and excess acid in my stomach.
  As soon as I stop taking it my stomach burns and I feel nauseated.
  My nose has been continually blocked.  I also have to clear my throat,
  feel hoarse, and bring up a lot of flem (phlegm).
  Also get nausea mostly in mornings?  any reasons why??
  Can this be caused by GERD?

Your symptoms could be a manifestation of GERD although sinus/post nasal drip must also be considered.  Ask your physician to arrange for a GI evaluation to exclude GERD.  A 24 hr pH probe study will be necessary, in all probability.
