Gallbladder, not gallstones

Gallbladder, not gallstones

About three years ago I had two ultrasounds after experiencing terrible pains in my left side.  The doctors concluded that my gallbladder did not expand and contract correctly.  I was told that I could choose whether or not to have surgery, so I took a week or two to decide.  During that time my pains disappeared and have remained gone for the past three years. Just recently I have been feeling extremely nauseous and the times that I have thrown up it is always bile.  I normally have a strong stomach and have not been exposed to any stomach viruses.  I was wondering if my gallbladder could be causing this.??

i experienced pain in my RIGHT side for 3 years on and off before they finally removed my gall bladder.  the symptoms i had were SEVERE pain, i was cold all the time, i couldn't eat, i had no energy and very bad nausea but i never threw up.  it has been 5 years since they took it out and i'm still in pain.  i didnt have gall stones either.  they said it just quit working and the bile was backing up into my liver and was very concentrated...    whatever that is supposed to mean.
