Gastritis Problem???

Good afternoon:

I have a question my wife suffers from Gastritis and she has not had problems for about 3 years know.  However, for the past three days, after eating she complains that " she feels that the food she ate comes back up and is stuck in her throat " what is this due to??? What should she take temporarily until we can see a doctor???  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like she may have GERD. She should take an over the counter acid supressent like pepcid or tagamet. This may help until she can see a doctor.
