Have I got Esophageal cancer?

  Hi all, I'm a senior at National University of Singapore. I'm 22
  years old, used to be pretty healthy. Two weeks ago I had a very
  full meal at pizza hut and I got a stomachache the whole night. A
  week later after I another chicken meal, I started to feel
  stuckness in my esophagus. I feel fullness in my chest occasionally
  and a subtle pain at the bottom of my ribs (in the middle). I also
  feel occasionally air bubbles coming up my throat. After I took a
  few days of antibiotics, the synmptoms seemed alleviated but when
  I eat a bit more and drink some beer, they came back again. I don't
  smoke and I'm not a regular drinker. I have never felt this kind
  of stuckness before in my life so I'm very worried. Have I got
  esophageal cancer? Please email me with an answer if possible.

Dear Kenny Zhu,
I doubt that your symptoms are related to esophageal cancer.  You may have heartburn, esophageal spasm or possibly even gall bladder disease as the cause of yoyr symptoms.  I would suggest that you stop alcohol, avoid fast foods and greasy foods.  If your symptoms persist or recur, then you should see a physician for an upper GI x-ray as well as an ultrasound of your gall bladder.
