Have I got GERD or something?

Dear readers,
     Here's my problem. 2 months ago, I had a very full meal and it made my stomach very uncomfortable for a while. After that I got a strange flu and I lost my voice completely for a couple of days. After that the real symptoms came.
Symptoms:
     Stuckness in my esophagus, making me feel like strangled. Relieved by eating meals.
     Frequent heartburn. Felt acidic stuff tumbling in my stomach.
     Occasional chest pain, especially when I bended, but only for a short period of time.
     Belching.
     I went to the doctor. She told me I was under stress and having indigestion. Later she said I have esophagitis. She gave me Motillium and Farmotidine, but they didn't really help. 2 weeks ago, I started taking Cisapride. It seems to relieve the symptoms.
Now the symptoms are:
     Sometimes minor stuck in the throat, especially every morning after getting off bed or after eating something tough.
     Painful swallowing when eating hard food.
     Sometimes heartburn at night but not in bed. Feel nothing in bed.
     Sometimes have a salty sensation in the esophagus but don't really vomit blood or anything.
     Minor Belching.
     So, do I have GERD or anything else? What should I do? It looks like it's a chronical disease and it disturbs me so much. Should I go for some kind of test to confirm the cause of these symptoms? Experts out there please help me!! Thanks a lot!
