Hepatitis C

Dear Dr. Pho, I am worrying about a hep C question and need a profound answer from an expert. PLEASE HELP. I made a poor decision and went to a massage parlor where I got a normal massage. What I am worrying about is that in the end the masseuse inserted a finger (lubed with oil) in my anus and gave me a short anal massage. Reading the internet I found that fisting transmits Hep C (while I was only fingered!). I didn`t realize wounds on her fingers. I worry that Hep C could have been transmitted by that encounter ( Iam immunized against Hep B). Is there any chance for that?? She was fully clothed, I did not touch her genitals. I wonder if I can pass on anything to my girlfriend. Shall I be tested?
Thank you very much in advance! I am suffering.

Yes, there is a possibility of transmission if there were skin breaks on her finger.

If there is suspicion, testing is recommended, now and in 3-6 months.  Blood tests can be done to exclude hepatitis C.  In the meantime, would be practice safe sexual practices.

This should be discussed with your personal physician.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
