I have upperleftside pain

my pain started after my gall bladder was removed 2 years ago. I couldnt
lie down stop vomiting bile or get rid of the pain.
They did 2 ercps's and 2 sphincterotomies, then I got worse admiited on a
fentanyl pain pump .
was there a month and declining.
So they did hida scan bone scan angiogram ct scan mrcp, bloods , mammogram
lung tests. Nothing found. So they operated exploratory lapratomy found
nothing and inserted a feeding tube. To eat causes me pain doesnt matter
what it is.
I remained like this for 3 months then I was given slow release morphine
which allowed me to eat again.
Since then I have had celiac plexus block and my splanchnic nerves severed a
new op . This has not worked.
I still remain on morphine for pain through my left side into my back under
my ribs.
yesterday i saw my specialist and have requested the following tests
I took my list, and said I still think its the
pancreas and he says well he doesnt know. I should have been quicker
and said well what the hell do you think it is after 2 years.
But I will get my chance.
I am being admitted for my next round of tests on monday week
Sandostatin injections ca 19 -9 he said that the results from that
arent reliable and beside why would you want to know. Man why wouldnt
I.
I also talked about the trypsin test another ERCP with EUS which he
said is very specialised he said but they will do it and admit me for
a few days a fine needle aspiration also.
They wil try doing it under sedation as I have decreased my morphine
actually halved it in the last week while I am taking the horse pill
antioxidants. so they may be able to do it without a general. I said
I wanted it sorted as I am going back to work on July .
He said thats admirable well I cant see myself sitting here for the
next 20 years I said not knowing what is causing my pain.
I want answers lol he said bring your list and we will do them all .
I said I might have more by then , and added who knows I might know
as much as you and the pancreas soon . he said well its not much good
knowing as he still cant help me.
So Off to hospital I go . Can you suggest any other tests? I also suggested
a stent  as maybe thats the reason I am having pain. I am clutching at staws
and sandostatin injections?

Wow, you have been through alot! I think the first thing you need to do is find a new doctor. You can find one who is sensitive to what you are going through, even if he doesn't have all the answers.
Have you had a stint? Did you have gallstones before? What about a medication called Actigall? Why did they do the sphincterotomies? Were they successful? Sounds like a stint might be a good idea to get things draining better. Are your liver or pancreas enzymes elevated?
