IS IT MY LIVER THAT IS MAKING ME ILL

I HAVE PAIN IN MY RIGHT SIDE THAT IS ALSO IN MY BACK. ITS NOT THE GALLBLADDER AS THAT HAS BEEN REMOVED ABOUT FOUR YEARS AGO.
I ALSO FEEL SICK AND HEAVE.
HEADACHES, FEELING TIRED ALL THE TIME EVEN IF I SLEEP WELL AT NIGHT.
I HAVE LOOSE STOOLS WITH TINY BIT OF BLOOD, MUCUS SOMETIMES.
SPOTS ON MY BOTTOM THAT WONT GO.

There can be a variety of causes for right-sided pain.  Depending on whether it is upper or lower, possibilities include the biliary tree, Sphincter of Oddi dysfunction, the appendix, irritable bowel disease, Crohn's disease or celiac disease.

I would start with an endoscopy, either upper or lower depending on where the pain is.  An MRCP can be considered to evaluate the biliary tree.

To look for celiac disease, blood antibody tests can be performed, as well as an analysis of the stool for fat malabsorption.

These options can be discussed with your personal physician.

Sounds like S.O.D...

doctor is spot on, you can do all those tests pretty quick but I'd start with the blood for celiac and h.ploryi and upper endo.... test then MRCP.  Good luck (i'm in the same boat..lots of pain on my left side and right.. I suspect SOD)

I, too, have undiagnosed pain in lower right side that permeates to my back.   I've had it for years, and every doctor prescribes a colonoscopy, but I don't want to do that.    I, too, have the small amount of blood and mucus in stool, sometimes.   I look forward to more comments about your problem, which sounds the same as mine, and also plan to research SOD, and celiac...   Is your pain lower right or upper right? Good luck.
