Im really scared regarding mucus stool

I am a 37 yr old female with 3 children, I have internal hemorroids (hemorrhoids), for about the past 3-4 years  I have noticed a very dark &  mucus in my stool and, I had my gallbladder removed about 8 years ago, so I have diarrhea all the time with a lot of acid . Lately, I have had been vomiting at lease 3-4 x a week and I have lost a lot of weight, before my surgery i weight 180 lbs and now im 109 lbs. I also have a big lost of appetite with constant migraine head ache and high blood presure on a weekly basis, Im was wondering, what does this sound like? All my symptoms are as follows: high blood presure, vomiting, mucus in stool, narrower stools, nausea, diarrhea, headaches, lost of appetite and dark stool at time with constant acid reflux
TThe medications i take are: Prevacid,Mavik,Darvocet,Abuterol, zanax, wellabutrin
Ps. Im realy scared regarding the mucus at the time.

Thank you

Mucous in the stool can be caused be malabsorption, inflammatory bowel disease or infectious causes.  This combined with the change in bowel shape certainly warrants some sort of endoscopy - either colonoscopy or flexible sigmoidoscopy for a more comprehensive evaluation.  If negative, you may want to evaluate for malabsorption - either a fecal fat test or serum test for celiac disease would be a good start.

Regarding the elevated blood pressure, you are already on a blood pressure medication (Mavik).  I would suggest seeing you personal physician to possibly adjust your medication.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.

mucus can come from many things, including inflammation, infection, irritable bowel, and tumors -- particularly benign tumors called polyps. Clearly, given the myriad symptoms you describe, you should be seeing your doctor; nothing online can replace having a direct evaluation.
