  My mother is 72, was treated for breast cancer 7 yrs ago, she had a lumpectomy, (left breast) followed by 35 sessions of radiotherapy. She seemed to recover well and she still takes Tamoxifen.  Two yrs later she started to lose weight...  doctors said she had malabsorbtion. Her weight went down to 5.5 stone. She gradually improved with two lots of treatment for Heliocobacter Pylori. (The first treatment made her much worse and she had to stop it.) Her weight got up to 7 stone, 6 months ago.
