Leptospirosis - Highly Elevated SGOT and SGPT

My son is 2years and 8months old, 3months back he was affected by leprospiral fever, but now the problem is even though after 100days after the fever the increased level of the sgot and sgpt has not come to the normal level. The doctors are saying the liver is very soft and liver function is
  Prothromin time:
         Method:Coagulometyry\plasma
             Test : 14.2 seconds
             control: 13.0 seconds
             INR     : 1.11

The sgot and sgpt levels from the past 3 monthe are

                        SGOT      SGPT

  23\6\08                167       200
  30/6/08                140       204
  5/7/08                 153       149
  12/7/08                172       190
  2/08/08                100       124
  26/08/08               111       162
  02/10/08               181       278

and their is no bilirubin to the child. But now the child is very normal like other childerns.
so please answer my question whether any other test need to be carried immediately or as the Doctors suggest (Paediatric Gastrologist)  can wait for next blood test.

The medicines that we are continuouly to the child is

        silybon syrup
        udiliv tabulet
        immuance syrup
        polybion syrup.

I am not a pediatric gastroenterologist, so my input is limited.

It seems that the liver enzymes are rising slowly.  Imaging the liver and gallbladder can be considered with an ultrasound or CT scan.

If the enzymes continue rise, the liver biopsy is the definitive test and should be discussed with your pediatric gastroenterologist.

Thanks for your reply, I  would like to know whether the elevated values takes time to come down. My doctor have suggested a period of 6 months duration for the values to come to normal level.
Also we would like to know whether Leptospirosis affected people have these high liver enzyme values . If yes, how long does it take to come down.
