Mildly elevated SGOT

Mildly elevated SGOT

On a recent blood test, all my values were normal, except for my liver enzymes.  My AST (SGOT) was 51 and my ALT (SGPT) was 72.  I have been fatigued lately, but my bilirubin was normal and there is no sign of jaundice.  I also never drink alcohol, nor have I in the past.  I thought that I might have mononucleosis or hepatitis.  Please advise.

ast and alt are both used to help pinpoint some liver disease or damage. i had a mild elevation in my ast last visit but all of my hepatitis panels came back negative. your doc will probably test for hepatitis and other factors such as fatty liver etc.
those can be mildly elevated at times without any problems being found and can return to normal.good lick
