Multiple Intussusceptions 11yr old

My 11 year old son Billy after 6 weeks was finally diagnosed with Intussusception.  When they went in to do a bowel resection, they found at least 8 Intussusceptions covering about 18 inches of his intestines.  They pulled the Intussusceptions apart but opted not to remove anything.  For 2 weeks following surgery, he was taking 10mg of Dicyclomine.  One day after finishing the medicine, the original pain from the Intussusception had returned.  We are sure they are back, but the Doctor's here have never seen this and have no clue what to do.  I've heard of a precedure called Plycation.  How would Plycation interfer with his life - handicap him at all?  Have you ever heard of my sons condition? - What do you recommend?  Presently he is on the sofa in constant pain - begging for help.    Thank you,  Robin
