Nausea, pain

A few months ago I was diagnosed with a mild case of GERD and
given Previcid whick i took ocassionally.  At first it helped.
I've had some probelms with upper level gas and alternating diarrhea
and constipation since I had my gall bladder removed and it has
worsened over time.
When I awoke about a month ago with nausea and diahrrea I just
thought it was a virus.  After three days I finally went to the
doctor who prescribed Phenergan and Lomox.  The Phenergan helped,
(although I still felt nauseated at least I wasn't throwing up)
as did the Lomox although as soon as I stopped taking them the
symptoms reappeared.  I also have some upper gatric mid line pain,
refulx, and abdominal distention.  I've adjusted my diet to
liquids and soft foods but it doesn't seem to help.  I know that
I should not continue the Phenergan and Lomox indefinately, but
I also do not want to have any unnecessary invasive tests.  I
also have hypothyroidism and take Synthyroid 1.5 daily with
Estrace for surgical menopause.
Any suggestions?
