Nausea due to slow gastric empying?


  Your mention of instestinal infections being reported to induce delayed gastric empyting  has me intrigued and I want to ask a follow-up question. I travel frequently to different parts of the World - in particular to developing countries. Last year after returning from a trip I suffered a stomach flu-like illness (and an inner ear infection). Since I was mostly concerned by dizziness due to the ear infection, I ignored my gastrointestinal symptoms for several months. When nausea and constipation did not clear up, I visited my primary care physician who tested me for h-pylori and did some stool ova and parasite tests. I
