Pain and nausea after gall bladder removal

Pain and nausea after gall bladder removal

I had my gall bladder removed 11 weeks ago during key hole surgery. However, I find that my symptoms have not gome away. I often suffer from nausea, whether I have eaten anything or not. Some days I will be constipated, on other days I have an almost constant urge to empty my bowels, even if they are empty and on other times I suffer from diarrhoea attacks. I also have severe pain underneath my right rib cage. I also suffer from excess gas. My food intake is very low. I can't eat breakfast, because it makes me feel ill, I have one small banana for lunch and some grilled lean meat with some fresh vegetables for dinner. Most importantly, I am getting depressed with not feeling well, not being able to go anywhere, without the fear of not being able to find a toilet or without feeling really sick. Can anyone help me? My GP thinks that it is too soon after my operation to come to any conclusion and he has given me Motilium tablets against the nausea, but I'm not sure they are working. Does anyone know of a diet that may help?

Have you tried the Blood Type diet of Food Combining - you can actually try both at once.
