Pain in Stomach

For some reason whenever I eat steak at a restaurant my stomach hurts for days after....like i am having a hard time digesting it or something.This weekend, I forgot about this and foolishly ordered filet mignon.I don't know if it is the preservatives in the meat but I only have a problem at restaurants.Anyways,since Saturday I have had severe pain, like a pulled muscle, every time I start to push while urinating or having a bowel movement.  it goes away but i am left with the numb feeling of someone punching me in the stomach. Today, Tuesday, I passed blood in my stool and was wondering if any of this is related.  I have had hemmoroids (hemorrhoids) in the past, but did not know if because i was having trouble digesting the meat, i could have a blockage or something.  Does this make sense?

Does the same thing happen when you eat ground beef? If so, then you might have an allergy or sensitivity to beef or something in the beef. Otherwise, yes, steak can be hard to digest for some people - even causing some minor GI bleeding. I'd recommend cutting back on beef in general, but going with the occasional hamburger when you need a fix. Good luck.
