Post gallbladder surgery

Post gallbladder surgery

Three weeks ago I had gallbladder lap. surgery. Several problems appeared since:
Digesting vegetables, fresh fruit and meat.
Several times a week about two hours after eating, I get chills, my temperature drops to 96.3 for about two hours.
Constipation is another problem. I'm taking fiber con 2 pills twice daily. I also drinking plenty of water. It helps somewhat but I continue to have incomplete evacuation. Dulcolax suppositories or a laxative tea help with this problem. I do not want to become dependent on this. Since the operation I also have lots of problems with hemorrhoides.
Is all this still related directly to the surgery?
  Thank you for your response.

Dear Didi,
I wonder if a reduction in fiber intake after the surgery has lead to the change in bowel pattern.  I would add Metamucil or Lactulose to your bowel regimen in ana ttempt to regain a normal pattern.  If, however, the bowel problems continue, then you should see your doctor to rule out the possibility of a concurrent colon problem.
