Rapid Gastric Emptying

Rapid Gastric Emptying

Hi.  My question is about the gastric emptying study where you eat a small amount of food and it is tracked until the stomach has emptied.  Has there been a change in the last six months in how the results of that test are determined as either normal or abnormal in terms of rapid emptying?  In other words, could a test result have been considered normal six months ago but now is considered abnormal because of new standards in rapid emptying?

I am not aware of new standards in resulting a gastric emptying scan.

To my knowledge, a result from six months ago would be the same if the study performed today had identical results.
