Rapid Transit ---Small Bowel

Does anyone know what might cause an extremely rapid transit time during a small bowel series?  The radiologist said everything looked anatomically and physically normal and the only thing he could think that might cause this is a viral or bacterial infection.  I've been having gastro problems for 5 months and anything like that should have been fought off a long time ago.  I have been tested for food poisoning and am doing a second round of testing for parasites, but is there anything else I might be missing??  My GP is at a loss.  Thanks!

It's me JessRyan you repliled to my question regarding small bowel follow through (below).  I got the results last Thursday they were checking for inflammatory bowel disease.  I have similar symptomes.  In my conversation with the Dr he stated that I showed no evidence of inflammatory bowel disease but had definate adhesions and scar tissue from previous abdominal surgery possibly disrupting the transit time, also he suggested (as another GI previous to him) that I most definately have Irritable Bowel Syndrome which is a diagnosis of exclusion.  Reffered me to a GI again to see what they might do to help.
