I was aware of what celiac sprue was.  My GI doc, and a dietician, spent all of 15 minutes explaining this to me.  That was the sum total of my medical advice.
I am curious about one comment, however.  In your listing of other possibilities, you mention Collagenous Sprue.  I have check NIH & NIDDK. Neither had this in their references.  I did find a comment that Collagenous refers to abnormal strands of collagen.
Could their be a connection between this theory and the adhesions I have had recurring problems (including an adhesiotomy) with?
