     I am a 21 year old male who was born with gastroschisis. In the past seven months I have had three bowel obstructions. I think this may be due to an adhesion being wrapped around a loop of bowel.  Is there any information about corrective surgery when this happens? The surgeons in my area seem very reluctant to operate due to my medical history. Are there alot of risks associated with surgery of this type? What about a scar revision? Should I even consider having one done at the same time? Can this kind of surgery be performed with a laproscope?
