I HAVE A  2 MONTHS DAUGHTER WHO HAS BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH BILIARY ATRESIA, AND  SHE MIGTH NEED A LIVER TRANSPLANT. DOCTORS CAN'T TELL WHEN, BUT I WANT TO KWOW WHAT HOSPITAL IN THE U.S.A. HAS PERFORMED MORE SUCCESFULLY  CHILDREN LIVER TRANSPLANTS AND THE NAMES OF THE SURGEONS
Hi! My son just had a liver/small intestine transplant in August at 16 mos old.  He had it done at Children's Hospitalin Pittsburgh--they are excellent and also do the largest amount of transplants in the US (i think this is accurate--i know it is for small intestine).  There are two surgeons: Dr. Reyes and Dr. Mazariegos and both see all of the patients here.  Please feel free to email me for more info @ ***@****---good luck!
