I did not find anything in the archives related to this topic.  About a week ago I started experiencing diarrhea, fatigue and chills.  I have been doing a lot of excercise lately (especially in the last 2 months) training for an expedition race next December.  The chills subsided, immodium takes care of the diarrhea (my stools are very light in color) but I still feel week and my stomach is still upset.
The doctor ordered blood chemistry and there is no sign of parasitic infection (had been suspecting it).  He did find my immune system is very low (paraglobulin?? .2??) and I am waiting for the results on more blood work.  Could all this be related to the increased amount of excersice, lack of sleep and unchanged diet (many people have told me that I should eat more, add supplements, etc.)?

Dear Alex,
It is difficult to know whether you have any problem without further details regarding the abnormalities in the blood test.  Under periods of physicial stress and fatigue, there may be an increased propensity for infection but I am uncertain whether there are changes in the level of imme markers.
