I have intermittent slow gastric emptying.  How long does it take for Propulsid to help?  Could a person just use it "on demand", or does one have to take it on a daily basis?

That med. works very quickly.  You should have relief soon after starting it.  I have had proble,s with this med. and had to stop taking it.  It has now been found to cause heart arhythmia in some people and especially with some other drugs.
