Reflux and Dental Problems

I was wondering what kind of dental problems you can get from
GERD.  I have been diagnosed with GERD and I now realize that
I started to show gum recession at about the time I began the
  problems with the reflux.  Thanks.
Dear  Steve,
The common oral and dental problems associated with gastroesophageal reflux are halitosis (bad breath), gingivitis (inflammation of the gums), erosion of the dental enamel and tooth loss. It was an astute observation on your part. Most patients are hardly aware that dental problems can be associated with gastroesophageal reflux. Good luck with treating your condition.
