Stomach/Bowel Problems

Hi, I am 21, ahve been suffering from digestive problems for about a month. I have had slight,fast moving pain on my upper right(more toward the center than side), lower right and lower left parts of my abdomen. The pain is not very bad and lasts for no more than 5 minutes before going away, but it is there. My doc diagnosed me with a peptic ulcer w/o taking any tests, and I dont believe it is an ulcer. My stools have have been diarreah (diarrhea) for a couple of days, then soft thin stool for a couple, then normal for a couple. There have been small black particles like poppy seeds or eggs? in them. Also, greenish pieces of something seem to be in it once in a while. any ideas on what this could be? The stuff in the stool as well as what the condition could be. One last question, how accurate are the over the counter "hidden blood in stool" testers?
