Stomach aides

During my weight loss and stomach , heartburn problems these past 6 months and now on "Choice" for nutrional support. Have you been directed as well ?
My Ph test is Thursday.
I drank carrott,celery juice for the vitamins as well.

my sister just recommended DGL, licorice root extract, to me for non-pharmaceutical relief for stomach pain.  it seems to have worked for her and she is well experienced in dealing with  conventional medicine.  i can't use it because, after research, i found that one of the side effect warnings is for increased blood pressure.  however, i found that it's an ancient, old world remedy which is still widely accepted.  i hesitate to use even seemingly benign methods without consulting with my doctor.

Are you feeling any better at all or are your symptoms just about the same?  Have you been diagnosed with GERD and gastritis?

Thank you for the information on the b/p with DGL. I was assured that if the contents said No sugar or fructose it would not effect my MVP. The nutrionist said they offer it is chewables and an ingredient was removed for b/p concerns: DGL : Enzymatic Therapy.
If any of you had the Ph test , Could you share if the numbing spray helped? I can't use novocain at dental appt's due to the effects on the hearts rhythm. They offer Pontacain though.
Stomach the same and additional symptoms as well. Sure hope to learn how I can start healing soon. thanks

did you loose your weight because od stomach problems?
My husband lost about 40 pounds in last 14 months.They found H.Pylori and he was treated for it,but we don't know if it is eradicated yet.He still has stomach problems and not gaining any weight yet,doctors don't know what to do.He was checked for everything else and was o.k.He is trying to convince his doctor that his stomach problems are causing all that weight loss,but nobody is beliving....

My weight loss is due to the inability to eat without pain,heartburn. 6 months of a limited diet: potatoe,cream of wheat, banana and occasional Cheerios: No dairy , meat,or anything . Miss my turkey avocados.Other symptoms as well and hope to find out soon what has my stomach in this shape.

Hi Everyone! This is "feelbetter" formally known as "prilobabe".I have been taking DGL for 10 days now. I sometimes take a tums as well if I feel something brewing and I have not had a heartburn attack since taking the DGL. It tastes kind of bad but it really seems to work. Mine happens to have fructose though because healthfood store told me the other kind may be worse tasting. I know that you seem to have way worse symptoms than myself but I think the DGL is worth a try. So far, it is working better than prilosec ever did. I was under the impression that only "plain" licorice raises blood pressure, not DGL. Does the fructose really make a difference? God bless and best wishes to all.
