Stomach area pain

I have always had some stomach area pain throughout my life, but since October '08, I have had few days free of this pain.  I go to bed feeling okay and during the night I wak with pain.  The pain sometimes get better during the day but I often feel naused during the day.  It is in the center and goes to the right.  I have had gall bladder ultra sound and was told it was all right. For the last two weeks I have been given AcipHex (20mg) and still have symptoms.  I don't know how much longer I can stand this.  I don't seem to get any help from a doctor since they don't see anything.   any suggestions what I should do next?

I agree with the ultrasound, which can evaluate for liver or gallbladder sources of the pain.  

I would next evaluate the upper GI tract, which includes the esophagus, stomach and small intestine.  Problems here can cause some of the symptoms you're describing.  

An upper GI series or upper endoscopy would be reasonable tests to pursue.  I would also obtain blood tests to exclude H Pylori.
