Stomach flu...or something else????

Stomach flu...or something else????

For the past 4 days I have experienced a pain in my stomach and sometimes up through the middle of my chest, just below my ribs. I thought it was the flu at first because I had aches, chills, and other flu like symptoms. After reading through some of the other quetions in here I thought maybe gastroparesis. When I am sitting down is when it feels better. I feel better at night before I go to bed. When I get up in the morning it is gone but gradually comes back. Alll I have wanted to do is sleep hoping that will make it go away. But it doesn't. I have had some watery stool along w/ all of this. Sometimes I can't tell if I'm hungry or if it is just this pain I have. I have had no vomitting whatsoever but feel like I want to sometimes. I feel as if it is gas sometimes like if I were to burp it would all go away but it doesn't. This feeling is mostly directly below my ribs right in the center and I only had the flu symptoms for the first two days. Now I feel great except for this pain which has caused me to be very uncomfortable and moody lately. I am a 21 year old female who smokes and drinks occasionally. I have NOT had a cigarette for the past 4 days because of the way I feel. The smell of one is pretty sickning right now.    HELP ME

i'm not a doctor and i can't diagnose anything...

but im a 20 year old female and i have the same problems right now. ive been told that it sounds like the symptoms of an ulcer, or something stress related. are you under stress? really think about what has been going on leading up to your symptoms...definately go see a doctor. it's better than just being worried :)
