This itching won't go away!

  I realize this may not fit into this category, but I needed some advice.  I appreciate you helping me if you can.
  My wife has been itching badly lately, mostly in her head area, but also on other parts of her body.  It is not lice.  We had an incident with lice a year or so ago, so we are familiar with what to look for, etc.
  Someone was telling her about scabees (sp?).  What are these and what else could it be?

scabies is an infection of the skin.  You should repost to the General Forum to obtain additional information. A doctor should be seen because of the possibility of spread of infection.
