Throat Ulcers

Can anyone help me?

I have been suffering with sever sore throat.  They occur about once a month.  Or a later.

Symptons are throat ulcers, high fever, and headaches.  Also stomach problems.  Feels like I have no taste in my mouth.  This has been happening since last september.  

I went to my doctor and he prescribed antibiotics to help me.

They work a little, the ulcers go away but they come back a about a month later.  I have used Augmentin (which does not work), Avelox (which helps), Levaquin (which helps), and Cefzil (which has some effect).

The pain is like nothing I have ever experienced.  Burning and the pain to swallow is unbearable.  Also my stool has this awful smell to it and it looks very dark.  Quite hard to describe, but use your imagination.

What is god's name could be wrong with me?  

I went to the doctor so many times over this matter and so far all I keep getting are antibiotics.

On my last visit he mentioned acid reflux.

Can acid reflux cause this?  I do get heart burn and there is a burning in my chest sometimes.  Could this be a problem?

Can anyone help me with this problem?  Any sugestions?

I want to be healthy again.

Hi -
as your problem is recurring, it would be recommended that you see a specialist - probably start with an ENT (ear nose throat) person, he could refer you to a gastro, if relevant.

HI I HAD TERRIBLE THROAT ULCERS FOR ABOUT EIGHT YEARS AND NOTHING WOULD CURE IT
I EVENTUALLY DIAGNOSED AS HAVING BRECHETS DESEASE AND PRESCRIBED THALIDOMIDE WHICH HAS HELPED AND I NOW HAVE HARDLY ANY OUTBREAKS OF ULCERS.

Hi HAVE YOU BEEN TO SPAIN OR SIMILAR RECENTLY AS YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO GET IT FROM SEA WATER ETC IN THESE AREAS
