Unclassified Hepatitis?

My cousin in China is diagnosed as unknown hepatitis and doctors there do not know what to do. In fact, we are not convinced that it is hepatitis. Is there any doctor in US who can help her, so she can receive proper treatment, with a definite diagnosis? Here are the test results: GGT L-gamna 306.9 (normal 11-50), ALT 53.7 (normal 5-40), AST 74.7 (normal 8-40). All hepatitis A, B, C, D are all negative. I can provide more data if needed.

I would proceed to any major academic medical center, who would have hepatologists for another opinion.

The next step would be a liver biopsy, which would be the most conclusive test to evaluate the liver.

This would have to be discussed with your cousin's personal physician.

My 14 yr old developed jaundice last May,along with nausea vomiting and abdo pain. Prior to this he had been well although has followed a gluten free diet for 3 years as he gets constipation, diarhoea, mouth sore and skin rashes. totol bilirubin has varies from 90-40 umol and Ccreatinine protein from 56-5. Alkaline phosphatase is 254. They could not identify cause and put it down to viral hepatitis. He has improved a little but is not right and feels sick and vey tired still. His eyes are jaundiced still. He did cheat alot on his diet over the summer and I wonder if this could be auto immune hepatitis or just a co-incidence? I am so concerned because he has gone from a fit bright kid who loved sport to a very tired fed up lad who just wants to feel well again. He never smokes/drinks/or dates as he is too into his sports normally. I do feel left as there is a vagueness about the cause ,no available treatment and he is stll so under the weather.
PLEASE can you offer any advise re further tests etc. So far he has been seem at ER and by family docter and once by a pediatrician.
Thanks
MJ

Hey Mandy i know of a wonderful product that will help cleanse and detoxify the liver and have many other great benifts. If you go to  www.marketamerica.com/philipngo in empty box type in HepatoCleanse. After that you can see the benifits of taking it, the ingredients used and the science behind this product. You'll have to sign up as my preferred customer before making a purchase this way i can contact you and follow up with you. Another product i''d also like to recomend is Aloe Juice again just type that in the box. Again you can read up on it but i'd just like to mention that Aloe has powerful healing properties. Be sure to watch the video of both products under benifts and ingredients you will see "close product demo" just click on that to learn more about the products.

No problem. If Thistle Milk alone is working for all his symptoms that's great.
