can anyone help with these symptoms

I am a male 42. I do not smoke or drink and I am not overweight. Many years ago i was diagnosed with a hiatus hernia.  Up till now i had no great problems, some burping after food, and sometimes distended stomach.  I had no pain or heartburn and required no medication, either prescribed or over the counter.  Over the past 6 weeks this has changed.  Started off with a sore throat and blocked infected sinus.  Received antibiotic which cleared up the infection.  Started developing headaches (dull and slight lightheadedness) tiredness and fatigue.  Blood tests done which showed a slight elevation in alanine aminotransferase (liver enzyme).  Now i still have the headaches, tiredness,( 8 hours sleep and still feel tired) slight throat irritation and some hoarseness.  Other symptoms now include upperbackpain, lowerback and side pain (sometimes after eating) excessive burping after eating, sometimes after drinking water.  Burping can ease the upper backpain for a while.  Recently I feel the need to burp and it feels as if it gets trapped on the way up.
I admit I have been worrying about my health recently, and could be producing excess acid.  Could these symptoms be Post viral?, or are they purely caused by my hiatus hernia.  No great problems for years then this.  can anyone enlighten me?
