chest tightness and sore throat?

chest tightness and sore throat?

so i am a 23 year old male, who has been healthy most of my life. about 5 months ago i got an pretty sudden and bad sore throat along with mild weakness. that lasted for about 2 to 3 weeks. then for the next few months, i would occasionally get a mild sore throat, and just not feel 100% and weak. then the last month or 2 i have had alot of exccess gas and belching, which sometimes feels like it relieves the chest pressure a little but does not compleltly make it go away. there is a lump right under my left breast, and sometimes slight pressure which fluxuates. also, i dont really seem to lose my breath, but my heart rate does feel faster at times even with little effort. laying in bed sometimes it beats faster and harder. any idea what could be causing this?

GERD would be a possibility.  I would also exclude an ulcer or inflammation of the upper digestive tract.

To evaluate for these conditions, an upper endoscopy can be performed.  I would also consider blood tests to diagnose H Pylori, a bacteria associated with ulcers or inflammation.

If negative, imaging of the abdomen can be done to evaluate the liver and gallbladder.  This can be done with an ultrasound or CT scan.
