constant diarrhea, What are some causes?

I am a 26 year old female who had a hysterectomy last may d/t endometriosis.  For the past 6 months I just can't keep anything in my system I have tried cutting out almost every food thought to be a proplem (milk, fruit, etc). I had a barium enema done in 2001 it showed norrowing in the sigmoid colon.  what could be causing this and do these two things relate to one another?

I had diarrhea for 3 years before someone tested me for Celiac Disease.  Just a thought!!!!  Now with no wheat, rye, barley or oats I feel great.  Gluten is in EVERYTHING!!!

I have been diagnosed with eosinophilic enterocolitis.  None of the medicine has stopped the diarrhea.  (I've had this condition for approx 1-1/2 years.)  Right now I'm taking codeine and lomotil.  The doctor told me there was no cure for this disease, but it could be treated.  So far nothing has helped much.  I hope you have better luck than I'm having.
