digestive disorder?

I am a 33 year old male.  I have had reflux for 10 years.  Several time a year I suffer from constipation & diarreah (diarrhea) alternating, severe bloating/gas, cramps on both sides about 3 inches below my belly button, mucous in stool, stomach spasms (very very noisy), loss of appetite, pain between my rib cage and hip on the right side, and at times I feel like I am going to black out.  I had a barium swallow/barium enema approximately four and a half years ago with no signs of disease.  I had an ultra sound of my gallbladder which showed gallbladder sludge.  A gastro doctor told me I may have a motility problem.  Last week I was so sick that I visited the emergency room.  An Xray of my stomach showed my colon was inflammed.  He said I should get a barium enema just in case there is some disease causing the swelling.  I had a physical 4 months ago, which showed a small trace of blood in my stool that he said was probably from a hemmoroid.  I do have bright red blood on the tissue from time to time when I wipe, but I have never noticed it actually in my stool.  Do I really need another barium enema?  Do I possibly have IBS?
