dysphagia

My two year old granddaughter has undergone extensive treatment and surgery at john hopkins for  acid reflux.  She has a team of doctors  who have been working to find answers to her problems ie:  pulmonologist and gastroenterologist. They have performed and prescribed all the procedures described in your medical information and forum .  Ph probe done several times; meds given to reduce acid; barium study, etc., etc., etc. Morgan takes nothing solid by mouth-fed only with a feeding tube and a special formula due to possible milk allergy.  She is healthy and developing in all other areas-  no weight loss.  The latest endoscopy  showed possible blood vessel constriction in the esophagus.  Her muscles in the esophagus are very low functioning.  My question is where do we go from here in a child this young?  What options are available to prevent further scarring of the lungs and chronic lung disease on down the road?
Thank you for your time.  cheryl sanders aka 'gammie'

Dear Cheryl Sanders,
The GI Forum no longer has a pediatric gastroenterologist to answer questions like the one that you posed.  I suggest that you repost your question on the Maternal-Child forum whichdoes have GI Pediatric Subspecialists.
Best of luck.
