extremely bloated

extremely bloated

I was diagnoised with sludge one month ago. Dr. put me on Nexium for four weeks. Finished medicine and noticed my stomach is really extended and same nausea and pain on right side are back. I eat very little, however, have not lost any weight and look as though I am pregnant. I am going to  gastro specialist later in month for further tests.  Any way to relieve this bloating in the meantime? Has anyone had this and does it go away once the gallbladder is removed??

I have not found anything to help my chronic miserable bloating & belching. But some people find help with enzymes that you can buy in the health food section.

I had constant belching and bloating, and my stomach was always distended although I didnt overeat.  I had my gall bladder removed 2 months ago (I had about 100 stones the Dr. said) and although its taking awhile to get back to normal (I have diarreah (diarrhea) alot), the belching and bloating have gone away - I feel normal again after almost 5 years.  Its good you have more tests scheduled - keep looking into it.  I let mine go too long.

thank you, it is good to know that I'm not crazy. I have noticed this week has been good and the bloating has gone down. I am still going ahead with the tests. I found that eating protien bars for breakfast lunch and dinner have helped. It is extremely difficult to eat most anything else without consequences.

Thanks for your replies.

Hi,
I am a teenage female.  I have extreme bloating.
I have been put on so many different meds without any helping.
my stomach is distended after breakfest. And I look enormus by noon.  This problem started about 1 1/2 years ago, when I reached my goal weight after having an acute case of anorexia nervosa. I eat very very very little, and exersize, but I can't loose weight. I have even recently been gaining an extreme amount of weight.  Does anyone have a suggestion?
