grade 1 esophagitis and antral gastritis

hai,i have a problem of gas and liguids comes out when ever i eating some thing, along with that bad smell comes out

of my mouth .when i consulted a doctor he has done  endoscopy and found out that i am having a problem of grade 1

esophagitis,antral gastritis.he provided me with some medication called(RABEMAC-DSR & REFLEX FORTAE(tonic)).

i have been using the medication from the last three years but my problen is not solved.when i visited the doctor

again,he said i have to reduce my meal quantity.so i did the same and i lost 12kgs of weight but my problem is not

solved.
       i am a business man .daily  i have to speak more people. with the bad breath problem i cant communicate well

with them.so please suggest me what should i do.you can't imagine how bad i am suffering with bad breath problem.i

can't even talk to people.

Reflux certainly can lead to the symptoms.  I would discuss with your doctor whether a proton pump inhibitor would be helpful.  Examples would include omeprazole or Protonix.

I agree with the upper endoscopy.  To quantify the severity of the reflux, you can consider a 24-hr pH study, which is a more specialized test.

If there is associated bad breath, I'm not sure reflux causes that.  Chronic post-nasal drip can be investigated, and any infection of the sinuses treated.  If needed, imaging the sinuses with a CT scan can be considered.
